Your attitude, nearly always, determines your altitude in life....dare to soar!
"Hope, help and healing are the goals of Flying Solo Counseling. I believe that, for many of us, it may take a great deal of courage to reach out for help, and I deeply appreciate how difficult it may be to take that first step. Our goal is resolve whatever is troubling you, as quickly as possible. I feel truly humbled to be invited to share the pain, sadness and anger--the full range of feelings---as I work alongside teens, adults, individuals and couples to find solutions to the concerns, problems or issues brought to our sessions."
Cheryl Klein, M. Div., LPasC

Cheryl Klein, M. Div., offers traditional "insight" therapy as well as  pastoral counseling (when relevant and requested by clients) depending upon each individual's needs and level of comfort.

Flying Solo? There's no need to feel alone with whatever difficulty or dilemma you are facing: in the comfort and confidentiality of this setting, we will work together to resolve it, and move toward a place of peace and joy. Services are offered for adult women, men and couples, whose worries, fears, disappointments and other feelings are treated with care and compassion in a judgement-free setting. Filial therapy (teaching parents how to use play therapy with their children) is available for parents seeking help with problematic behavior of children. Coping strategies are provided for anxiety, depression, sleep problems, relationship conflict and more.

Pastoral counseling (using faith as a resource for healing) may be helpful to those of great faith, little faith, lost faith or no faith. All faiths are welcomed, respected and supported. There is neither interest nor intention of directing clients to specific worship settings, services or houses of worship; faith is only a topic of discussion in sessions when it is of interest to clients and is presented by them.

Cheryl Klein has been licensed as a pastoral counselor by the State of Maine since 1994. Her office was established in Windham in 1999. Please call, text, or email for more information or to schedule a first session: (207) 892-7656,
