Fees for Counseling Services

For office visits, most (but not all) insurance is accepted with co-pay fee required (cash or check) at the time of the visit. Cheryl Klein, M. Div., is a provider for the following insurance:
- Aetna
- Anthem
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield (depending upon the state and policy)
- Cigna and Cigna EAP
- Harvard Pilgrim
- Magellan EAP
- Martin's Point US Family Healthcare
- Optum
- Teamsters Behavioral Health

Authorization, benefits and eligibility must be verified as well as applicable deductibles and copay amounts.

Sadly, Mainecare, Medicare, TriCare, Medicaid and other government insurances are not accepted at this office due to state/federal limitations. Clients who may be connected with faith communities may seek financial assistance with their ministers, rabbis, etc., who may be aware that pastoral counselors are not eligible to provide care for government insurances, and who may, within their faith communities, have discretionary funds for helping members with counseling.

If insurance is not utilized, the maximum fee is $150 per session, with a minimum fee of $75 per session available. Fees are due at each session and may be paid by cash (receipt available) or check. HSA cards are accepted but other credit and/or debit cards are not accepted.

Face-to-face sessions in the Windham office are approximately 45 minutes in length. Individual sessions are available for women and men, age 18 and up, with consideration given to adolescents, age 16 up, who, with their biological parents, are committed to the counseling process.

In addition, parents seeking help with troubled children may be accepted into this office's filial counseling program, which trains parents to work toward resolution of the child's problem. In this program, there is a weekly session for the parent and child together, and another session for training the parent.
